Announcing the Appointment of Antony Barrier as Director

Munro Doig is pleased to announce the appointment of Antony Barrier as Director, effective 1 January 2019.

Originally from Pemberton, Antony joined Munro Doig as a solicitor in 2007, practising in the areas of taxation, superannuation and commercial law.

In 2012, he joined a national law firm practising primarily in taxation before working in London in a boutique private client firm, primarily in the area of international taxation.

Antony returned to Perth, and to Munro Doig, in 2015 as a Senior Associate prior to his well-deserved appointment as Director.

Antony is a leading lawyer in the areas of taxation law, including business structuring, international taxation, income tax, capital gains tax, goods and services tax and State duties. He presents extensively on these areas through the Tax Institute of Australia (where he is also a Fellow and Member of its CPD Committee) Law Society of WA and Legalwise. He is an active participant at the North of the River CPA Discussions Group and regularly advises accountants, financial planners, high net-worth individuals and small-medium enterprises.
